Jack Connor and Lingua Aeterna are traveling the world

We are going to show our audiences the world’s most interesting languages, and the people that speak them. Episodes for our first season will include Crete, Louisiana, and Ireland.

Crete, Greece

In Crete they speak Cretan Greek, a form of the Greek language that goes back millenia. We travel to this island to learn about this language, explore the linguistic mysteries of the ancient Minoan civilization, and experience the majesty of Cretan island culture.

Louisiana, USA

We travel to Louisiana to discover the true histories of Creole and Cajun. Jack and the Lingua Aeterna crew spend lots of time with native speakers, listen to Creole Zydeco music, and eat an ungodly amount of amazing Louisiana cuisine. Truly a spectacular trip.

Join us as we learn about the Irish language, the Irish fight to speak their language in everyday life, and the amazing story of how they revived this once-endangered tongue to become a national idiom spoken by the majority of the population.
